Please check out my latest creation if you're interested in modifying your radio. I've been using a GT2B transmitter for my electric longboard, it's an amazing remote control system. However, in its original form it's quite bulky and not very portable when you're not using it. This housing minimizes the bulk and leaves you with only the throttle trigger as the main input channel. To assemble you'll need; 1 x 250 mah thin lipo battery (to replace the original bulky battery) 2 x 680 ohm resistors (solder where on the inputs to the unused channel) 1 x ON/OFF switch of your choice (remember to make a hole in the case for that will fit your switch) 1 x M3 14mm screw (to hold trigger) 1 x M3 4mm screw (PCB) 4 x M3 8mm screws (case halves) 2 x M3 nuts (on the trigger screw between the pcb) Some tips while customizing your radio; Be careful when unsoldering the USB-jack, take your time. Cut the bind button and rev-throttle switch short to allow full movement of the trigger (or lose 1mm in range). Do a transmitter calibration on your ESC when you're done.
