Update 2020-02-21 : It should be printed on its side rather than standing upright, allowing the filament to flow continuously from top to bottom and become more resistant, as illustrated in the accompanying picture. Update 2020-02-01 : The interior of the base is no longer empty; it's now solidly filled to prevent damage. Initially, removing the cap caused the base to break due to its fragile design. Replacement badminton pole caps are designed to hold the net rope in place along the axis. The original model was compromised by repetitive friction during rope tightening, necessitating a cut down the middle. This new model is more rigid and robust than the original, requiring adjustments to dimensions if necessary to ensure the cap remains securely attached to the pole. It serves as a 2-in-1 design, allowing for rotation if the initial groove becomes damaged due to rope strain.
