The Franklin outdoor sports kit comprises of two telescoping poles for holding a badminton net. The set was purchased at a yard sale where it was in good condition for just $3. However, upon arrival home, it was discovered that the retaining pins for the telescoping poles were broken, except for one. A photo of a functional pin and a broken pin was uploaded to show what needs replacement. The owner used their 3D printing skills to design and print replacements for the faulty pins, which have been field-tested and approved by family members. These pins help provide hours of backyard entertainment, or in this case, weeks of humiliating defeat in the narrator's case. The owner jokingly hopes that 3D printing can one day be recognized as an official sport to beat their spouse at something. But for now, these printed retaining pins offer a solution for those with similar issues.
