Disclaimer: I do not take responsibility for any LiPo cells that are punctured or damaged because of this model. They can be a fire hazard, use at your own risk!

This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5320100

Badger2040 case modified to house a 500mAh battery inside.

I purchased my battery from a third party, but it should be identical to the one sold by Pimoroni https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/lipo-battery-pack?variant=20429082055

The battery slides right in, and is pressed lightly in place. It is held by a bridge which needs to be carefully cleaned of any points that can dig into the battery. You'll notice mine has a few marks, but thankfully it didn't puncture.
The bridge is thick enough to keep the battery away from any components on the back of the Badger.

Assemble using 4x M2 8mm self tapping screws, I think anything between 6-10mm will work. The screws works better with PETG than PLA. I used the ones as from https://www.printables.com/model/167251-badger-2040-enclosure, https://www.amazon.de/Karbonstahl-selbstschneidende-Maschinenschrauben-Befestigung-Reparaturwerkzeug/dp/B07T5WX7HY

A window was added to the back to have a way of unplugging and recharging the battery, as it does not charge via the USB-C port. It is NOT easy to unplug but beats unscrewing the case.

If you like me want to show the Badger while protecting it, print very slowly (max 20mm/s) at 0.1mm layers. See the clear .3mf file, which also covers the LED.

I do not know why two of the screw holes are looking weird on the .stl, but the geometry is respected after slicing.
