Badger 2040 case with battery
prusaprinters
We needed a case to protect the Badger 2040 while students used it so I designed this. It has access ports for the Quiic port and USB port. It uses the battery case that comes with the accessory kit.I made two versions. One uses 2.5mm screws that threads directly into the plastic. The other uses 2mm heat set inserts and 2mm screws to create a stronger connection. We're using the heat set insert version for strength but if you're not worried about students breaking it you can use the on that threads into the plastic. Both uses 10mm long screws. Below is the hardware from McMaster, but you can get equivalent from anywhere.Heat set insert version parts:2mm Heat set inserts2x10mm screws2.5mm version parts:2.5x10mm screws
