Create an Arduino-based Echo Box using this top mount for your base and this thing (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:107982). The BadBrick Echo Kit is ideal for learning to program with an Arduino UNO R3, featuring a fully assembled device that functions as a basic measurement tool. With the Ultrasonic sensor, LCD and buttons, you can write various sketches. Purchase the complete Echo Box kit at http://www.badbrick.com/catalog and access all associated .stl files there without double posting. In MakerWare, adjust "Medium" settings: Quality with Layer Height at 0.2mm and an increased temperature of 235C for better fusing of larger prints. Keep other defaults unchanged. Note that newer versions (2.2) may have printing issues; downgrading MakerWare to 2.1.x and firmware to 7.0 resolves these problems by preventing slicer from printing partial faces not in the model.
