Based on Kurzgesagt's bacteriophage design, these tiny terrors are the most deadly creatures known to man, viruses that wipe out entire bacterial populations with ease. There are more of them than any other creature in existence, constantly surrounding us and infesting our bodies at every turn. Yet they spare human life, a phenomenon that can be attributed to an incredible stroke of luck: bacteriophages only attack bacteria, leaving humans unscathed.
