Backpacking chair replacement parts

These replacement parts are specifically designed for the bungee cord end cap and feet of a folding camping or hiking chair. The endcap securely holds the bungee cord in place while protecting the fabric of the chair from damage caused by the metal rod. This is especially crucial in lower-priced versions of this chair, where the original endcaps often prove to be too soft and thin, allowing the rod to cut through them and eventually into the chair's fabric. By contrast, 3D printed plastic tends to be harder than the original material, and I have made the lip of the cap thicker for added durability. In some cases, the original endcaps are not sized correctly for the metal tubes, which can cause them to become lodged and pulled out when removing the chair seat. The standard feet that come with these chairs perform well on solid surfaces like cement and hard-packed ground but struggle on softer terrain such as sand and mud, often getting stuck behind when lifting the chair. The new replacement feet are designed to distribute weight over a larger area, much like snowshoes do, allowing them to remain stable without sinking into the ground.
