One of the sliders on my Osprey Quasar backpack's chest strap broke when I attempted to adjust it. I initially looked into acquiring a replacement from Osprey, but it was significantly simpler to design and print one myself instead. It took five iterations before I achieved a satisfactory fit - however, with a printing time of approximately 10 minutes per iteration, the entire process was relatively swift, considering the first revision was discarded in the slicer. The custom part is designed specifically for my Osprey pack; fortunately, I've also fixed another backpack with the same issue using this same design, suggesting that it may become a standard solution for various backpacks.
