Backmagic Pocket Cinema Mini Rig
thingiverse
I purchased a Blackmagic pocket cinema camera but encountered numerous problems keeping it stable. I first created a larger rig, but it was too bulky for the type of video I produce (my baby daughter). The setup features a flashmount for a Rode mic. A simple back protector and a half sunhood are incorporated into the design. A large tube is also included to shield from intense sunlight; a longer tube might be even more effective, given my limited eyesight at that distance. However, the tube does compromise portability somewhat. I attempted a comparison video but it ultimately only highlighted the need for further practice. Despite this, I'm really pleased with this design; a small piece of 25.4mm steel tubing is required, which isn't visible in the image.
