Backlit Lithopane Holder

I've used other lithopane designs here, but most are centered around using a tea light. These lights don't give focused light and generally do a poor job of illuminating the lithopane. With that in mind, I designed this to meet several requirements: easy to print, optimal for post-print processing with wood PLA (intentional lines), modularity for future revisions, and easily obtained supporting materials (lights, velcro, etc). The light is able to be moved a variable distance from the lithopane to optimize the focal point. The intention is for velcro to go into the bottom of the lithopane slot and on the bottom of the lithopane. This allows for smaller thickness of lithopanes to be viable and allowed you to adjust the presentation angle for thinner lithopanes. Velcro can also be used to secure the light mount to the light itself. These lights come with a thin plastic mounting bracket that is perfect for this. The base and the lithopane holder are secured by two pegs. Insert the peg into the lithopane holder side first, then the base. The pegs are optional, but they help align the parts at the center. I recommend using your favorite hobby glue with the pegs for maximum stability. To do: * Design a module to hold a remote control * Decrease the thickness of the tongue on the light holder to better sit in the groove * Decrease the size of the peg hole to make alignment via plastic easier * Design a module/storage location for additional AA batteries (3) UPDATES: 6/18/2019 - The pegs have been removed until I can redesign them. Until then, put filament in the alignment holes and tack them down with glue. You can then apply some glue to the face of the part, and use the filament as a guide to glue the parts together.
