Backlight Matterhorn *Remix
prusaprinters
A little remix of the Matterhorn by mishkin2. (Download the base-layout from mishkin2, the middle and back part are here available) The whole thing is made of 3 parts and a short LED-stripe.The base-layout is glued to the middle part. The middle part has groves in it to glue the LED-stripe in (note: must be glued in upside down). After this, you glue on the back to it.There are holes in the back and middle part to mount it on a wall with nails (middle part holes are 8x8mm; back holes are 5x8mm). Suggest you use the back as template to mark the position for the nails. If you do not use nail but mount it otherwise on the wall or if you use a stand, you could also switch the middel and back part. So you could glue the LED-stripe like it is supposed to be and got a small lighted middle part. Base-layout and back should be printed in a color you like. The middle part with translucent filament. Use different infills for different light-outcomes.The led-stripe I used is this here: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07ZDP26LD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ; the groves are 11mm wide and 2mm deep. The whole middle part is 5mm thick and the back is 1,2mm thick.
