Backgauge / Back ruler for IDEAL paper trimmer / cutter

Whoever owns an IDEAL paper trimmer knows how great they truly are. I have one in Buenos Aires and recently stumbled upon an incredible deal on an IDEAL 1038 (https://www.ideal.de/en/cutting-machines/trimmers/1038) for just $15 Canadian dollars at a local thrift store! It was old enough to proudly claim it was built in West Germany, pre-1991, and still works like new. However, it was missing the back gauge. So, here's my version of the IDEAL 1038 back gauge. I'm fairly certain it would fit other models as well (1058, 1071, 1135, 1046) but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Additional requirements include: 1x M3 screw with an Allen head, measuring 18mm in length 1x M3 screw, 6mm in length 2x M3 nuts I hope the provided pictures are enough for assembling it.
