I wanted to Make a backgammon set for my parents because they like the game.
Opened, the board is 390 x 340 x 30 mm. Closed it is 190 x 340 x 60 mm.
(Not including hinge or clasp protrusion)
I made the triangular patterns differentiated and raised to so they can be seen even without a multi-colored board, or easy painting if that's what you want to do.
Pips can be stored in the troughs near the hinges.
Assemble per the color coded pictures. I forgot to place the hinge barrel pin for the pics. (Hint: it goes in the hinge)
All parts print without supports except the hinges and quadrants (Rounded Bottoms).
Should be pretty strong with the connector plate pins, but I will also be using super glue.
Connector Plates and hinges designed with zero tolerance because I'd rather sand for a tight fit than try to predict expansion/contraction for everyone's print settings/filaments.
The pins are also designed with zero tolerance for a tight fit. No sanding should be required.
