Backcover and ledlight for Anet A8 12864 display Skynet3D Mod
thingiverse
I've crafted a custom backcover for the Anet A8 frame bezel, showcasing my display mod design made by SCOU of Skynet3d. First, I carefully cut out a small piece from acrylic using my trusty Dremel tool since there's no room for an LED backlight. Next, I removed the bottom spacer and replaced it with a custom-made LED bar, which is actually a remix of a design found on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2004680). To achieve optimal results, you should use 3x30mm screws, but if possible, consider upgrading to 3x35mm for better performance. This is the first iteration I've created. Here are my print settings: Printer: Anet A8 with display mod by SCOU Rafts: No rafts needed. Supports: I opted out of supports for this print. Resolution: I used a resolution of 0.2 mm to achieve a high level of detail. Infill: The infill density is set at 20% to balance strength and weight. Notes: This custom backcover will only fit the Skynet3d Displaymod designed by SCOU, which can be found on https://www.facebook.com/skynet3ddevelopment/.
