Back To The Future 2
thingiverse
Let's get time-traveling and revisit Hill Valley, a quaint little town with a clock tower that seems frozen in the 50s. The streets are bustling with people rocking poodle skirts and greaser haircuts. At Marty McFly's house, we find Doc Brown, a scientist with a passion for all things time and space, tinkering away with his DeLorean time machine. Doc tells us it's October 1, 1985, but Marty is on a mission to fix his friend Biff's messed-up future. See, Biff stole the sports almanac from the year 2015, and if he succeeds in selling it at the mall food court, he'll have the upper hand for life. It's up to Marty to intercept Biff and get the book back. The DeLorean's engine revs to life, and before you can say "road to tomorrow," we're careening down a country road, hitting 88 miles per hour in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, time seems to warp around us, leaving Hill Valley far behind. When the dust settles, we find ourselves on November 5, 1955. This isn't the only timeline shift that's happened – we've created a closed timelike curve, one where cause and effect get tangled in knots. Marty is now a high school student trying to avoid the very man he used to be. George McFly, his dad-to-be, looks like an utter pushover around the town. If we can prevent Biff from giving George's physics teacher a detention on November 12th, things might just change. However, as we soon discover, altering one detail has huge ripples. Our next destination is 7:30 pm that evening – dinner with George's parents, which turns into a bit of an intervention to sort out Lorraine and Biff's romance issues in high school. It appears that the time machine doesn't only transport people from 1985 to the future, but also acts as a portal between alternate realities. But Doc believes if we're going to repair what Biff did, we need all three branches of reality back on track – past, present, and a slightly tweaked future, naturally. Hill Valley, get ready for a bumpy ride ahead because things are about to move fast – so fast that it'll challenge even our minds! Let's take one giant leap backward to set time right again!
