Back stop for CraftBot

Back stop for CraftBot

When printing with the filament holder on my CraftBot XL, I've noticed that the spool can shift back and forth, causing the filament to unwind and wrap around the holder. If this occurs, the filament can become stuck, resulting in a print failure. To prevent this issue, I use the back stop clip, which fits snugly onto the filament holder rod. This keeps the spool firmly in place, ensuring it doesn't move during printing. For reference, you can view images that illustrate the problem and its solution online. Although high-quality prints aren't required for these visuals, they're worth a look once you've attached the back stop clip – you'll only need to see them when changing the spool.
