I designed this project so it wouldn't need a direct attachment to the Circuit Playground. The CPE was a gift, and I wanted to make the gift more engaging. The cutout version holds the 100mah battery securely in place while keeping the entire profile sleeker. I used two washers for the magnet, attaching them firmly with super glue to the plastic back, and secured the battery in place using clear tape.
