This striking full-figure statue of Bacchus, the revered wine god, showcases Erik Gustaf Göthe's exceptional skill in neoclassical sculptural style. Following his rigorous training at the Academy of Arts in 1803, he embarked on a journey to Italy, where he studied under the renowned Antonio Canova. These 3D scans were created using an Artec Eva with the goal of producing a highly accurate digital representation of the original work. Although these scans are not exact duplicates due to inaccessible areas and other limitations, they provide a remarkably close approximation of the statue's intricate details.
