Bacall Associates: Singapore Trip Day 1 - Transportation Guide To Singapore

My second international trip was to the prosperous city-state of Singapore early last year. Known for its large Filipino workforce in tourism and IT, this country left a memorable impression on me despite the misadventures during planning and the trip itself. Singapore is visa-free for Filipinos, with a 30-day tourist visa. Immigration officers can be strict, but showing a fully filled departure/embarkation card, Philippine passport, flight details, hotel booking, company ID (if employed), and government ID (for self-employed or students) can help. Singapore is a multicultural country with four official languages: English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil. The local language, Singlish, has influences from Chinese and Malay. The currency in use is the Singapore Dollar, with 1 SGD equal to approximately 34-35 PHP. I would love to visit again.
