the Cidikar class of heavy carriers began life as the Devaskar class carriers. Built before the Dilgar War, the Devaskar was expressly designed to carry the new Pikatos heavy fighters. By the time the Dilgar war ended, only two Devaskars had survived. Both shouldered heavy loads while Ly-Nakir and the Brakiri people rebuilt from the ruins. Later, in an attempt to increase their fighter loadout and add the new heavy lasers purchased from the Narns, the two hulls were taken into dock and completely rebuilt. Large attachments were added to either side of the basic hull to provide the needed room for what would rapidly become a very large vessel. When completed, the new vessels were reclassified as the Cidikar Heavy Carrier. Early successes with the new vessels convinced Ly-Nakir to build additional Cidikar units. this model is based on the concept art from the Babylon 5 wars ship sheet seen in the "Ships of the Fleet" book.
