Babylon 5 Omega Class Destroyer (remix) cut for printing w/0 support
thingiverse
This is a remix of Mike1701 omega destroyer. This remix has been cut up for printing without supports. It has been cut in such a way that it can be easily scaled up, making it possible to print and build large models (at least 500%). I have left the original scale intact. The rotating habitation section can be assembled as a stationary part or made to move freely. To make the rotating section move, you will need to provide a central axle (PVC, metal, etc.) and drill corresponding holes in the front and rear hull sections as well as the rotating module. All ship cannons have been uploaded as a separate file. The ventral and dorsal cannons are identical, so print as many as you need (12 I think). The cannons pivot on a disk axle. Files with disks removed or attached have been included for printing convenience (attached will require supports). Disks have been included separately as well; do not print if choosing cannons with disks attached. The cannons can be made to move using a similar process as the habitation module. I have cut and uploaded the rear engine assembly in two forms. The first is complete with an "engine cover". This may prove difficult to print and may require support or slower printing speeds. The second form has the "engine cover" removed but included as a separate file. If you choose the engine assembly with the cover included, do not print the separate engine cover.
