Baby Tentacle was designed using 123D Creature software, then affixed to a build plate in Makerware before printing. The bottom of the model was removed in Netfabb to prevent support requirements during the print process. RepG Sailfish handled slicing duties, resulting in an excellent final product. To achieve a larger size, 200 percent scaling was used with 100 micron resolution and PLA material, requiring no supports. The initial STL file was smaller as it had a lower poly count; however, the larger version still printed smoothly thanks to RepG Sailfish's capabilities.
