Baby Shark Inspection Drone X8
thingiverse
The BabyShark X8 Inspection Drone was a proof of Concept on the YouTube Channel Rotor Riot, and was built to show that a tiny drone in the shape of a ball can fit into tiny spaces and have good stability and not get stuck. This is useful for inspecting areas where humans can't reach or shouldn't be due to safety or health concerns. Print solid infill with TPU There is additional hardware necessary: M2 nuts and bolts will be used to assemble the frame. I used m2 x 100mm threaded rod and cut it to length https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CGNXQVN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The rest of the build should be straight forward for wiring up an x8, and building a Rotor Riot BabyShark - See Rotor Riot YouTube channel for BabyShark build video. Not all of the spacers were used, and the spacer lengths may need to be modified depending on the components you use for the build. I used 2 x 20x20 ESCs and a Matek 30x30 F722HD flight control board. https://rotorriot.com/collections/flight-controllers-for-fpv-drones/products/matek-f722-hd https://rotorriot.com/collections/esc-for-fpv-drones/products/hobbywing-xrotor-nano-4in1-esc https://rotorriot.com/collections/baby-shark-parts
