A Pinterest picture inspired the creation of a simple yet attractive object that serves more as a desk ornament than a toy. It was modeled using Solidworks 2016 and rendered with Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. The frames were edited in Virtualdub, saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format. Gifs were created using PhotoScape, while IrfanView was utilized for rendering edits. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are all animated. The ZIM file can be viewed on both IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app after being opened with Simlab Composer. Additionally, the model is available in multiple formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
