Baby Rattle

Baby Rattle

thingiverse

This text describes a DIY baby rattle that can be printed using a Makerbot. The rattle features a small sphere in its center which needs to be broken off to create the rattling sound. The DWG, DXF and STL files are attached for printing purposes. The hole at the top is both decorative and functional, increasing the rattling sound and serving as a means to dislodge the sphere with a 6 cm Leatherman blade. It's advised to edit the DWG or DXF file before printing, and then carefully insert a small knife to release the rattler. However, the toy is not suitable for children under three years due to its small parts which could pose a choking hazard. The safety of this object has not been tested. Please report back on how well it prints and whether any design changes are needed.
