Baby proof drawer and cabinet lock

Unable to find a drawer lock that fits my needs, I decided to design one myself. To me, an effective baby-proofing drawer lock should be straightforward to use and uncomplicated in its design, with a low price tag. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. However, there's a trade-off - this lock won't work if recessed into the cabinet, leaving no visible sides. Check out my video to see them in action: I've used 1mm thick double-sided adhesive tape to secure them. For comparison, my toilet lid lock has longer arms. So far, I've installed these locks on IKEA Malm drawers, BESTA TV cabinets, toilet lids, and some kitchen cabinets. Now, I'm looking for a solution that fits the IKEA Expedit drawers and doors.
