Baby Mobile Motor Unit
thingiverse
This motor was designed to drive a baby mobile and combines a small DC motor with a AAA battery and a printed power switch in a case that can be hung up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzO45zEWDd4&feature=youtu.be Additional parts include: * 1x N20 Gear DC Motor (6V) - 30 RPM * 1x AAA micro cell * Some solid wire * 2x Screws M2x10mm with nuts Assembling the motor involves: 1. Printing all parts 2. Cutting two wires and stripping insulation on 1-2cm of one end each 3. Wrapping the blank sides of the wires through holes in each connector (slider and contact) 4. Assembling the parts together with the motor in the case, as shown in the pictures 5. Shortening and soldering the wires to the motors contact pads 6. Closing the case with the cap and securing it with screws Note that power consumption has not been calculated yet, but one AAA cell at 1.5V may be undersized for a 6V DC motor. A 45-minute non-stop duty time is expected, but this device is an electric contraption and should be used with caution.
