Baby Jack -- O'Lantern - fits $1 store LED tealight
thingiverse
Happy Baby Jack O'Lantern fits perfectly over dollar store LED tealights, available in three flavors. With a face and impressive design, Meshmixer supports various customization options. Faceless alternatives are also available, showcasing the versatility of this model. YouTube time-lapse videos demonstrate the printing process, while an updated version includes an adapter for seamless integration with white LED tealights. Note that metallic ones may require the adapter to fit snugly. A Scrappy Jack version is also available for those who prefer a more rugged design. Print Settings: Printer: Tronxy X3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.24mm Infill: 10-20% Notes: This model was printed using cheap, orange ABS on my Tronxy X3 with the soon-to-be-released fan shroud, allowing for optimal ABS temperature control. The printing process involved two shells and six top layers. For best results, use Simplify3D or Cura to generate supports if not using the Meshmixer version. Post-Printing: Remove supports and add a tealight. I used LED tealights from my local DollarTree store. To achieve a unique texture, brush on acetone, let it dry slightly, then blast with a heat gun for a cool finish. A video demonstrating this technique can be found in the Scrappy Jack YouTube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-5-ciPqluA. I designed this model using Onshape to test my skills and was pleased with the outcome.
