I was inspired by a film and this file: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2235934. I started learning Fusion 360 fundamentals and added some Blender work to create the box from scratch, acknowledging potential inaccuracies as a newcomer to this field. I printed the result too small on a cheap Prusa clone that's been running almost 24/7 for over 12 months; although it needs attention, it still produces reasonable prints. Print Settings: Printer Brand - Prusa, Printer - Prusa Clone, Rafts - Doesn't Matter, Supports - Yes, Resolution - Up to 0.2mm, Infill - I used 50% as it was a small model. Notes: The Groot itself is prone to breaking at smaller sizes, especially arms and fingers; scaling up will improve strength. Walls were set at 1.2mm. How I Designed This: Fusion 360 for the main structure and Blender for cables and organic details.
