This is a remake of the Dancing Groot model into a push puppet. For the most part it operates quite effectively, although the trunk sections can sometimes become stuck in a state where they refuse to reorganize themselves. In such cases, you can usually just give the model a gentle shake and it will resolve itself. Because the arms and neck are so slender at their attachment points, I ended up routing the string directly through their ends. The holes do not appear too distracting.
