FeaturesBaby gates often come with rubber feet that press against walls or a door frame to stay in place. This is enough to keep it in place lightly, but if a toddler tries to climb it or a dog jumps on it, the rubber feet will easily slip and the baby gate will fall. These brackets mount to the wall or a door frame using wood screws or any other tapered head screw, and hold the feet of the baby gate firmly in place. Keep your baby safe and your dog contained! This has been designed to fit the Regalo Easy-Step Baby Gate (affiliate link). The original comes with a wall mount cup already, but I lost mine during a move so I designed replacements. The source files can be modified to fit any other baby gate though, read the instructions below. The screw hole is designed for a 15/64'' gauge 4 wood screw. Or at least I think it is, I grabbed some screws I found laying around and measured them to figure out what size they were. You can adjust the hole size, or just screw through the hole.PrintingMake sure to print this with 100% infill! The part otherwise may not be strong enough. If you want to cut down on filament use or printing time, you can use a lower infill but you should keep the base (the part that the feet press against) 100%. You can do this by setting your bottom horizontal shell layers to 10 layers (or whatever corresponds to 2mm with your layer height), or by putting a 2mm high modifier slab. The pictured print was done with:Creality Ender 3 S1 ProInland White PLA+0.2mm layer height100% infill4 perimetersNo supports, brim, or raftCustomizationYou can customize this design to fit any baby gate that uses circular screwed friction feet. Open the FCStd file in FreeCAD, which is free and open source. Click on “Parameters” on the left, and you'll get a spreadsheet. Here, you can change the measurements to fit your baby gate. Just measure the diameter of the gate feet, and update the diameter value in the spreadsheet. Do you want to use a different size screw? Change the head bore diameter (the thickest part of the screw) and the screw hole diameter (the thickness of the threads) to fit the screw you use.If the printed parts are too tight, increase the “tolerance” to compensate. Reduce the tolerance if it's too loose. Same for the screw, if your screw doesn't fit despite getting correct measurements, increase the tolerance to compensate for your print shrinking.
