Baby Gate Stand for Wooden Gates 38x20mm
thingiverse
**Background:** I use a baby gate to keep my pet confined in an area without a standard doorway. It was held up by some macguyvered end table, packing boxes, and an open door at 90 degrees off to the side. As such, it would fall down more often when the cardboard packing boxes started to get old and fatigue. This led to my pet getting into the kitchen where she shouldn't be! I'm glad I found this item! **Description:** I modified a part from **Baby Gate Stand used as a pet gate** by turbosupraman to work with my wooden gate. The part thickness has been shortened to 20mm and the width of the gap increased to 38mm. If you have one of these super cheap wooden gates and your dimensions are the same, try this out! It's a tight friction fit, but it works great so far! **Update:** I've been using this for quite some time now, and I've noticed that the friction/notch has started to wear at my wooden gate. I hot-glued the bracket to the gate and it seems to be holding much better now!
