Baby Gate Latch

We frequently open and close this gate, which made a mess of the factory wall cups since we use it for our dog, not a child; the OEM wall cups eventually worked loose and caused a complete mess on the plate on the wall. I needed to replace those wall cups with something new. The current setup works great, holding well against our small dog, but it won't stop a kid who wants to get through. When we open the gate, it slides up and over the ramp into a small notch that holds it lightly in place for easy opening and closing.
