Baby Gate Cat door

We've got a baby, stairs and a Cat. The cat's stuff is split between upstairs and downstairs and our gate had no way for the cat to get from one floor to the other. Simply cut 1 of the poles from the gate, and attach one of these to the top and bottom. Affix with a zip tie and scew. I am not an engineer, do this at your own risk. I'd recommend a thick infill and smoothing off the cut pole for safety reasons.
