The latch mechanism on my baby gate gave way to the unrelenting strength of my four-year-old, who had somehow managed to put its incredible force to good use. I carefully measured out the dimensions and created a basic design using 3D Builder, before refining it further with Meshmixer's advanced tools. To my delight, the new latch held fast without the need for a nut, thanks to the clever tensioning mechanism that kept it securely in place.
