Baby Gate Bannister Adapter

I created custom fitted bannister adapters for our baby gates from scratch. To prevent scuffing the wood, I added a 2mm foam pad around the inner perimeter of each adapter. The square portion of my bannisters measures 83mm x 83mm - you may need to adjust these dimensions to fit your own bannisters. I used external fasteners like 40mm M5 screws and internal screws like 40mm M4 screws to secure the wood slat to the adapter. A recessed indentation on the piece that the wood slat connects to perfectly fits an M4 nut. It's recommended to print each adapter individually, on its side, for best results. I only needed supports underneath the hole curves and it took me four prints over two eight-hour printing days to complete. I hope this DIY project turns out useful for you - happy building!
