Baby Fence Stairs Hanger

We have a fence to keep our little daughter from climbing the stairs. The problem is that when it isn't using we don't know how to save it. I designed this hanger to attach to the railing of the stairs and thus prevent it from falling. It’s the first impression of a project I did, I'm sure the structure could be much better. Designed it with SketchUp, if you need to modify it just let me know.
