Baby Dragon Growing Up
thingiverse
I originally wanted to give the baby dragon by dot-kit (thing: 384040) a menacing appearance.\r\nAs I worked on it, however, I realized it looked more mature.\r\n\r\nSo I created versions of the dragon at 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, and 6 months old. You'll need to obtain the original baby dragon (the one younger than 3-months) from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:384040\r\n\r\nEach time the dragon ages, different changes are made, such as larger wings, more menacing fangs, a longer neck, growing new bone structures, a longer tail, more defined muscles, and so on.\r\n\r\nIMPORTANT: the stl files must be scaled before printing.\r\nThe stl files are scaled very small to match the scaling of dot-kit's original file, so you will need to scale them to your desired size.\r\n\r\nI have four pictures of the dragons together. A front and back view of where each dragon is scaled the same. From the front view, you can see dot-kit's original dragon on the far left and on the far right is the six-month-old dragon. You can see they are getting larger and gaining more features, but they are all fairly close to the same size.\r\n\r\nThe other two pictures show a front and back view of different levels of scaling to give the dragons an even faster growth appearance. The scales shown there are (from the front view, left to right) 400%, 450%, 500%, 550%, and 600%.\r\n\r\nYou can scale these however you wish, just remember to scale the dragons according to their ages (e.g. you don't want the 5-month-old dragon smaller than the 4-month-old).
