Baboon - D&D Miniature
thingiverse
I need a baboon figure, one that was initially created by MZ4250 for his animals collection. However, when I found it, printing and removing the supports proved to be quite challenging with the ape mini. Ultimately, I decided to split the ape mini into separate components for easier basing. I discovered this museum-quality piece online, which served as a suitable baboon model. After some editing in Meshlab and netfabb, I was able to rebase it successfully. The resulting prints may not look impressive at first glance, but they print well and provide me with a decent representation of a baboon that can be placed on my board. EDIT: Upon further reflection, I realized that I had originally planned for the 25mm size, but found it to be too large. As a result, I opted to print these models at a reduced scale of 75% instead.
