This is a baby safety wall plug outlet cover.\r\n\r\nIt replaces a standard sized 2 outlet wall plug guard. (sizing based on a USA wall plug)\r\n\r\nThe concept is that your little ones might be able to pull the cord out of the wall, but they won't have an easy access to live prongs as the plug is partially pulled out.\r\n\r\nAlso a cool addition even if you don't have kids. People tend to like the look of these regardless of the baby safety aspects.\r\n\r\nWARNING >> be careful during installation to avoid electrocuting yourself. A slip of the screwdriver can send the metal screwdriver or screw directly into the outlet. It's advisable to shut off the circuit breaker during installation. Or use an "isolation" screwdriver taking care to use one hand only, and not be touching the metal blade of the screwdriver at any time.\r\n\r\nWARNING >> there is no guarantee that your child won't grab and break through the hole plastic cover on the wall, or find some way to still electrocute themselves. Use at your own discretion.
