Babco 160 - Vise Jaw
thingiverse
I'm restoring a Babco 160 6" vise and it's all but impossible to find replacement jaws. I've thrown together a quick and dirty model and printed a few up and they work perfect. I'll use these as a pattern to cut a set of steel jaws when my bar stock arrives but will keep these as a set of no-mar jaws (print 2 @ 100% infill for use). These may work on other 6" vises, please check the below dimensions: - Mounting screws are 3.5" on center (1.25" from each end) - 7/8" tall - 1/2" deep - 6" wide (if you missed that part...) I added a few grip patterns to the test fitted model and left a slick side model as well. Part is mounted with m6x20mm flat head Phillips machine screws. FYI: I am (obviously) NOT a professional designer. I can usually tinker to make something that works for my needs. Please leave constructive criticism if warranted, but don't be a troll. :) Have a nice day!
