The Fine Art: Painting, Drawing & Printmaking course at Carmarthen School of Art, Coleg Sir Gar equips students with the expertise to expertly manipulate paint, drawing and printmaking in intimate workshops of no more than 18 students; mastering traditional subject matter such as still-life and figure painting. In their first year, students attend hands-on workshops where they learn through experimentation in a dynamic teaching environment that fosters creativity and inclusivity. Every student develops essential representational drawing skills by closely observing real life, with equal emphasis placed on conceptual approaches to making innovative contemporary fine art.
