The Boeing 767 is a mid-size, wide-body twinjet airliner designed by Commercial Airplanes for commercial use. It can carry between 181 and 375 passengers and has a range of up to 6,590 nautical miles, depending on the specific variant and seating configuration. All major surface textures of the 767 are 2048x2048 in resolution, with color and bump maps provided for detailed rendering. Photoshop templates are available for download, measuring 4096x4096 in resolution. The Boeing 767 was first introduced into commercial airline service in 1982. It is a wide-body, double-aisle jet designed to optimize fuel efficiency while maintaining passenger comfort. Built alongside the 747 in Everett, Washington, the 767 can carry between 200 and 300 passengers. Its digital cockpit design makes it easy for pilots to transition between flying the 767 and its smaller counterpart, the Boeing 757. The 767-200 was first ordered by airlines in 1978 and production continued until 1994. The extended-range model, known as the 767-200ER, entered service in 1984. The 767-300 was introduced in 1986, followed by its extended-range variant, which debuted in 1988. Today, the Boeing 767 family includes three passenger models: the 767-200ER, 767-300ER, and 767-400ER. The latter can carry up to 304 passengers over distances of more than 7,000 miles. In addition to its passenger variants, the Boeing 767 also has a freighter model based on the 767-300ER fuselage. This aircraft was first delivered in October 1995 and features a large cargo capacity. Boeing has also offered modified versions of the 767 for specialized uses, including an airborne warning and control system (AWACS) platform and a tanker/transport designed to replace aging KC-135s. The latter can carry passengers, cargo, or both and features advanced aerial refueling systems. In July 2001, the Italian Air Force announced plans to purchase four Boeing 767 tanker/transports with options for two additional aircraft.
