B64 Chassis Protector
thingiverse
It's crafted to pair seamlessly with a pre-existing front and rear skid-plate, which must be secured firmly to the chassis. I opted for an extremely thin layer of shoe-goo to bond them together, and after numerous high-speed runs that put the vehicle through intense bottoming out on jumps, it has held up remarkably well so far. Furthermore, shoe-goo is not strong enough to provide a permanent seal. A reduced layer height would undoubtedly increase print time significantly, yet the smaller ridges between layers are less likely to snag on the ground and suffer damage by tearing off.
