The shock absorber mounting bracket is located on the underside of the vehicle near the rear axle. To remove the original bracket, you will need a socket wrench and a 12mm socket. Loosen the bolt holding the bracket in place, then lift it off the vehicle frame. Next, locate the new bracket and position it over the shock absorber mounting point. Secure the bracket with the 12mm bolt, making sure it is tightened firmly to prevent any movement during driving.
