B5S4 Vent Gauge Stuff
thingiverse
Human: Just some stuff to help modding a stock vent for a gauge. Quickly and efficiently, these resources will aid in modifying a standard vent for a gauge. Files are available in Fusion360 if you need to adjust the design for a different sized gauge. Currently, it is set up for 49mm boost gauges like AWE and possibly ECS. The Vent Gauge model can be cut if you prefer to attach it to a CNC machine. This model includes the cuts necessary to run a CAM program. It is configured for use with a 1/8" endmill, but this can be easily modified if needed. The Vent Gauge Plug Front acts as a stabilizing spacer for the fins while cutting. You will require two of these plugs. The Vent Gauge Plug Back serves the same purpose as the front plug, but it is intended for use at the back of the gauge. Only one Vent Gauge Plug Back is necessary. To print the plugs, select a flexible material. I successfully used TPU and found that they work well. You may even be able to stabilize the fins sufficiently to attach the gauge to a drill press and remove the center with hole saws.
