Modelled images I found into this hotend and tried to simulate thermal properties using a 60W / (m^2 C) convection on the fins with 20C ambient. Might have been a cool design if it was redone using the latest 2020 methods such as the super thin heatbrake found in bimetallic heatbrakes.
