B3 Pico Hot End in A Divinci 1.0
thingiverse
I added all stl files you need, modifying brackets to fit pico head perfectly. I tested and front fan mount isn't necessary to run filament but does keep barrel cool. On 4-18-15, I added another part to make mod complete. Changed thing:447903 to mount a 50mm fan blowing air out from the hot end side, creating a push pull fan system that keeps everything cool including the stepper motor. A V2 worked much better on 4-27-15, with a much shorter distance for pushing air past the Hot End. It works perfectly now! The Pico hotend is used in a Divinci 1.0 using thing:707530 and a modified thing:620454 without any problems with thermistor readings or temperatures. I made changes with 123D Design and MeshMixer. Follow the instructions for thing:707530 and change thing:620454 to fit in the Divinci carriage. Add bearings to the tension wheel and use the original Davinci 5-volt fan instead of the Pico 12-volt one. I run Repetier firmware on a Hackintosh system without problems with PLA or ABS printing, considering it as a work of art. File down E3D V6 parts for a better fit if necessary. No issues found with thermistor readings or temperatures that are spot on!
