B2D Extruder with gears MK8 (1.75mm)
thingiverse
### Why is it better to use MK8 gears in B2D extruder? Using MK8 gears in a B2D extruder significantly improves the quality of printed filament. The output geometry of the filament suffers minimal damage, resulting in more uniform melting and improved retract performance during printing. Additionally, the output diameter of the filament is accurately maintained (not oval). ### What is changed? Several key components are modified to work seamlessly with MK8 gears: * Filament feed is precisely designed for MK8 gears, offering a superior feeding mechanism compared to the previous "40 tooth inner hole 5 diameter 12mm feeding gear." * The reinforced filament clamp ensures a secure hold on the filament. * The diameter of the filament guide hole is reduced from 2.5mm to 2mm for improved efficiency. * Instead of using bearings 605zz, bearings 625ZZ are employed for better performance. ### What is needed to assemble this extruder? To assemble the B2D extruder with MK8 gears, you will need the following parts: * Two GT-130 6mm width synchronous belts * Three GT-20 inner hole 5 synchronous wheels * One GT-16 inner hole 5 synchronous wheel * Two MK8 gears * Six 625ZZ bearings * Two 624ZZ bearings * One pneumatic fitting PC4-01 or two (for down guide) * Two 5*45 pins * One 5*30 pin * Two M3*16 screws * Five M3*12 screws * Four M3*30 screws * One M3*20 screw * Two M3*12 screws * Ten M3 six-angle nuts * Two M4*10 ball head screws * Two M4 six-angle nuts * One M5*16 countersunk head screw * One M5 square nut * One powerful spring (height 15mm) * Five M5 washers
